Why Choose Us?

We’re Keith & Shannon

We’re proud to be local! Keith and Shannon Lewallen were both born and raised in North Carolina. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Pfeiffer University, Keith began his career in pest control in 1985

In 1992, his father Wayne Lewallen founded Union Exterminating, and Keith joined him that same year. Sadly, Wayne Lewallen passed away in 1999. Keith and his wife Shannon have run the business together ever since.

Don't DIY -- Depend on Us!

Thinking about tackling pests yourself?

You’re not alone. Many folks try DIY solutions to save money or because it seems simple enough, but pest control isn’t as straightforward as it looks.

We often meet homeowners who’ve tried store-bought sprays, traps, or online tricks, only to find the problem comes right back…or even gets worse. For example:

  • Using the wrong product on ants can actually cause them to split up and create new colonies, making the infestation harder to control!
  • Also, roaches and waterbugs can turn into infestations if you don’t know their habits or where they’re hiding.
  • When it comes to stinging insects like hornets or yellowjackets, DIY can be dangerous—not just for you, but for the pollinators we all rely on!

Our team is trained to protect your family, your home, and the local environment.

Professional pest control is more than just having the right products—it’s knowing where, when, and how to use them safely and effectively. We see all kinds of construction styles and materials here in the South, and each home has its own pest challenges. What works for one house might not work for another.

If you’re tired of temporary fixes and want lasting results, let us handle the pest problem so you can get back to enjoying your home, worry-free (and bug-free).
