Is it safe for pets, children, and the environment?

To prioritize everyone’s safety, we can only treat as the label allows. We’ll also ask if you or your pets have known allergies to certain chemicals. If so, we use more baits where kids or pets can’t reach. We use different formulations and techniques for the circumstances. 

We ask that pets are crated while we’re in your home. Keep children next to you, too. We’re happy to schedule when kids are at school. Or, we can treat inside the house while you’re there, and then you can lock up and leave while we do the outside (and let things dry in the house). Don’t let the kids touch the baseboard until its dry, and or stay out of bushes until they’re dry.

We get it — you wanna fix it yourself. However, it’s common to use a repellant improperly and inadvertently drive insects inside, making things worse!

Also, the labels can be misleading. Does that spray you bought kill 50 different insects? Yes, if you spray it directly on them. Does it control or repel them? Not at all.  

If you spray the wrong plant or bug, you can accidentally kill honey bees—or even an entire colony. We can have the honey bees safely removed so they can continue to pollinate and make honey.

There’s also more danger than you realize with venomous insects like wasps, yellow jackets, and hornets. If you don’t know what you’re doing, you could cause a swarm and end up in the hospital, even if you’re not allergic to being stung. Let us handle it—we’re trained to do this safely.

Absolutely not! We always contact you, either by calling or texting. We’re flexible, and able to reschedule according to your needs.

Yes, especially for the first treatment. But then after that, if there are no problems inside, we don’t even have to come in to continue preventative treatment; it’s all outdoors. 

We do have eco-friendly or plant oil based treatment options! Iif you choose this treatment method, we’ll have to treat more frequently for it to be effective.

Plant oils can also be irritants to dogs or children—or you might not like the smell—so it’s not always the best option. Let’s discuss what you need and what works best for your home!
